Bridging Program: High-intensity home visiting program for high-risk prenatal clients

ECE Consultation for ME is Maine’s statewide Infant and Early Childhood Mental Health Consultation (IECMHC) program that helps children from birth through age 8 by supporting the adults who care for them. Our IECMH Consultants partner with early care & education providers, teachers, families, and caregivers to strengthen children’s social and emotional growth. Services are free and voluntary and take place in licensed child care centers, family child care provider programs, and schools throughout Washington County.

Multiple services for parents to help their babies have the best possible start, at no cost. Services include home visiting, breastfeeding support, car seat safety, childbirth classes

Parenting in Treatment & Recovery: This focuses on the impact of substance use, mental illness, and trauma on parenting. These sessions help to restore what has been lost in the parent and child relationship, while strengthening their connection to move forward with the healing process.

An evidence-based series designed by the Nurturing Parenting Program and facilitated by Sunrise Opportunities Prevention Council educators. Explore how substance use and trauma impact parenting and discover family resources aimed at restoring the parent-child relationship. Call to enroll.
